At Artist Avenue, we are committed to providing the skills and connections necessary for young dancers to transition into professional careers.
Our semester-based programs allow dancers to choose a specific stream or mix and match to suit their future aspirations. Our comprehensive curriculum ensures that each student receives high-quality training tailored to their individual goals.
Our Founder
Sarah Moore, the founder of Artist Avenue, began her dance journey at age three and was competing provincially by nine. She trained extensively at Fabulous Feet in Turner Valley and later at Focus Dance Studio in Winnipeg under Barb Daurie, completing her RAD ballet exams and mastering ADAPT and Bob Fosse style Jazz. Sarah’s dance repertoire includes Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Pointe, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop. She has competed nationally and internationally, participated in workshops led by industry leaders like Mia Michaels and Justin Timberlake’s dance team, and achieved success at CanDance nationals and the Hip Hop Worlds Dance Competition in Germany.
Sarah began assistant teaching at 13 and led her own competitive dance classes by 18. Over the past decade, she has created captivating dance pieces and advocated for mental health and wellness in the dance community. With extensive experience in hospitality, leadership, management, and human resources, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and advocacy to Artist Avenue.
